Con il suo programma per ragazzi, l'Uncle Floyd Show, Vivino, oltre a ventriloquare e proporre buffe scenette buffe, non disdegnava mai ospitare artisti musicali strafichi tipo Misfits, Tiny Tim o R. Stevie Moore, cosa che probabilmente fece sì che il suo show diventasse una delle robe preferite di John Lennon, Iggy Pop e David Bowie. Quest'ultimo, nel suo Heathen del 2002, omaggiò Uncle Floyd e la sua tv dei ragazzi nel brano Slip away.Don't forget to keep your head warm
