TYLER, TEXAS - Qualche giorno fa, Terry Teene se ne andava tranquillo tranquillo in bicicletta quando è stato arronzato da un camionista sbadato che guidava un carro attrezzi, eppure avrebbe dovuto saperlo che bisogna sempre stare attenti al carro, lo diceva nella sua canzone più famosa, Curse of the hearse, della quale vi riportiamo il testo per intiero:Here Comes The Hearse!

Here Comes The Hearse! Teene, oltre a scrivere canzoni, si trasformava in Clownzo e portava un po' d'allegria a grandi e piccini. Stando poi a quanto dice wikipedia, ha recitato in Toro scatenato, Man on the moon e Little Nicky... IMDb non è d'accordo, infatti non è presente nel cast di nessuno dei suddetti. Ha poi, sempre secondo wikipedia, condiviso il palco con Alice Cooper, Nazareth, Flo & Eddie, Kinks, Sha Na Na, Knack, Cheap Trick e Bobby Vee. Infine, sosteneva di aver ideato il personaggio di Ronald McDonald (cosa peraltro smentita dall'omonima multinazionale), di conoscere personalmente alcuni W56 e di essere arrivato sulla luna prima di Armstrong.
